Success Stories

Wafaa Saab

Ramco Trading and Contracting S.A.L

As the undeniable impacts of climate change became increasingly apparent, I was driven to develop a skill set that would enable me to contribute positively to our planet’s future. The Executive Master in Future Energy at ESCP not only provided me with the academic foundation I needed to immerse myself in this dynamic field but also inspired me to strive for a better tomorrow. The programme's diversity, with participants from all over the world and professors who blend real-world and academic experiences, greatly enriched my understanding and broadened my perspectives. This collaborative environment effectively complimented my civil engineering training, honing my critical thinking and enabling me to address complex issues with innovative solutions.

Upon joining the EMFE in 2022, I wondered if the programme would meet my expectations and enhance my understanding of the energy sector. My doubts were dispelled from the first few weeks: each class was a new discovery, and the professors adeptly connected the curriculum with current events. Simultaneously, I met wonderful people, including the teaching staff, management, and students from diverse backgrounds, some of whom have become friends and even business partners. Indeed, ESCP is a place where it's possible to create synergies leading to the establishment of new businesses. After my graduation, I felt as though I was entering a new world, equipped with the skills to discuss various subjects, such as energy risk management and sustainability. At the end of the day, I am extremely happy to be part of the first cohort of the EMFE.
Laurent Villiers
Associate Director, Site Services and Utilities EMEA at Merck Procurement Global

I was looking for a programme that would enhance my skills in the energy sector, focusing on industry challenges, advancements, and project financing. The energy programme at ESCP was a transformative experience that deepened my understanding of the energy ecosystem and equipped me with practical skills and strategic insights. The diversity of my classmates enriched our exploration of global challenges. Since completing the programme, the future strategy for Renewable Energy Sourcing is now under my leadership within my company. I know that the skills and knowledge I have gained throughout the programme will be invaluable to my career now and in the future.
Amine Hameg
Financial Products Development Specialist & Investor Relationship at
Compagnie Financière Jacques Coeur
Paris, France
Coming from the finance industry, my understanding of the energy sector was initially shaped by articles and fundraising activities for renewable energy projects. Participating in the EMFE programme allowed me to greatly expand this knowledge through courses taught by experts in energy technologies, regulations, markets, and project management. Opting for the programme's blended format enabled me to continue excelling professionally while engaging in live sessions and onsite seminars across Europe, which included valuable site visits that enhanced my learning. This experience not only honed my strategic mindset for future challenges but also immersed me in a multicultural environment, enriching my personal and intellectual growth through interactions with a diverse group of international peers.

Additionally, it will provide an opportunity to consolidate their understanding of the concepts and tools presented during the programme. The CP will start about 3 months into the programme.
